Kids have been saying funny things since the dawn of time. Ditto for husbands, only erase the funny part. Sharing these stories is nothing new. First they made the rounds via circles of fire. Then water coolers. Next email. Then Facebook. And Twitter.

So you see, kids aren’t any funnier today. Bosses aren’t any bossier. We’ve just got so many more ways to talk about it. And why, we wondered, should the retelling of priceless one-liners be limited to family, friends and followers?

That’s why "Out of the Mouths of" was born. We’re a small group of moms (and dads) who get a kick out of the things we hear in the course of everyday life. We want to get the most mileage out of them. Plus, sometimes we want to escape our own lives for a few minutes and laugh uproariously - or nod knowingly - at the stories shared by other people.
