How does this site work?
It's very simple. A person contributes something they heard by clicking on the "Submit" link at the top of the page. The submitted quote then gets reviewed by our team and "approved" ones get posted onto the site for everybody to enjoy.

What is the criteria for approving a quote?
Quotes are approved based on their entertainment value and how clean they are, from a language perspective. We are committed to providing an entertaining site that does not contain any language that may be viewed as offensive.

Can I submit a quote about anything?
Generally, yes but we ask that you only submit things you heard directly from somebody - whether it is your child, your spouse, an in-law, etc. - and you use language that will not be offensive to anybody.

I'm a guy. Can I submit a quote?
Sure but we are primarily targeting women as the primary audience for this site since we feel they are the ones that hear the bulk of the adorable and outrageous things on a day-to-day basis.

How are the Top Quotes selected?
Readers can show their liking for a particular quote by clicking on the button. The Top Quotes are those that receive the most votes.

Can I share quotes I like with others?
Yes, just click on the ShareThis link at the bottom of each quote.

Will comments also be approved before they are posted?
No, however, the "Out of the Mouths of" team will remove any comments that is viewed as inappropriate.

If I sign up for the OOTMO email, what will I receive?
You will receive an email on a regular basis with great quotes submitted by our users.

I don't see any advertising on the site. How do you plan to make money?
Over time, we plan to incorporate advertising in the site.
